Blinds and flooring in Kleinmond

Humidity that sits
Engineered wood outperforms solid timber because its layered core stays stable as humidity swings. Vinyl and novilon are the most water tolerant floors we lay.
Houses that stand closed
A lot of Kleinmond is holiday accommodation. A house shut for months with nobody opening a window is hard on natural materials, so specify for neglect rather than for looks.
Ventilation before product
Our rule of thumb: if you get steam on your mirrors, you will have trouble with any blind in that room. Extraction matters more than which blind you choose.

Do you have a shop in Kleinmond?
No. Our showroom is in Gansbaai, at Shop 2, Protea Centre, Main Road, open Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 and Saturday 09:00 to 12:30. In Kleinmond we work by appointment and bring the sample books to you, which for most people is easier than a drive either way.
Do you charge to come out that far?
No. The survey and the estimate are free, and we take the measurements ourselves — which also means we carry the responsibility if a custom blind is made to the wrong size.
Do you cover Betty's Bay and Pringle Bay?
Yes, on the same basis as Kleinmond, and Rooi Els too. They are the same coast with the same problems, and we plan those trips together.
How long does the work take?
Blinds normally take around two weeks to be delivered, because every one is custom made to your measurements. Flooring depends on the range and the subfloor — our self-levelling screed is 2 to 3 mm and dries overnight, so we can usually fit the following day.
